Our Story
Where it started...
Once upon a time, in the town of Woking, there lived James. Just a regular bloke without a care for wings having only had amateur experiences in this food group thus far. One day during a work lunch he visited the local Wetherspoons for their Wing Wednesday. From this day onwards a fire inside him was born. No it wasn’t indigestion…
How it developed...
Wetherspoons’ buffalo and blue cheese chicken wing combination had hit taste receptors that had never been hit before. After a couple of years in Woking, James moved to London for work. Although the move was non-wing related, the crispy, tender limbs of joy shaped the coming years. His new passion developed and grew in the big city, organising wing get togethers with mates and visiting Tripadvisor’s most highly recommended wing joints.
Where we are today...
In 2017 James attended his first Wingfest where all things important to him combined in one day. Some call it Wingmas. This festival provided the basis for unofficial wing tours throughout the city. These tours began and developed with friends, and in January 2023, London Wing Tours was born; Showcasing London’s best wingeries to the World.
